Welcome to Meadowood Community Creche
Since it's conception in 1998, Meadowood Community Creche has been providing quality early childcare and education and has been an integral part of many families in the surrounding community. Meadowood is a non-profit community licensed creche that aims to support children's learning and provide a welcoming environment for parents/whanau and children.
Our long serving centre manager 'Valma Wills' has been with us right from the beginning and continues to bring valued change and progressive learning in line with Te Whaariki, parents and the community.
We are purely a non-profit centre and rely on MOE funding and parent/whanau donations to keep our centre operating with qualified teachers and to benefit all our children who attend Meadowood Community Creche.
At Meadowood we serve a diverse community and cater for a number of children with learning support and have developed good relationships with external support agencies.
We have an open door policy and welcome parents/whanau visiting the centre.

NOTE: We do not close during term holidays - but are closed for 6wks over Christmas/Summer holidays.
ERO REPORT
We had ERO visit us in February of this year and the creche received an outstanding review. Our creche has supported children's increasing capabilities in relation to the learning outcomes in Te Whāriki. Creche provides children with equitable opportunities to learn. The learning environment promotes children's curiosity, persistence and decision making with teachers supporting and enhancing children's belonging, communication, socialisation and identity as successful learners.
As always we give a big thank you to all of our amazing staff for all of their hard work in continuing to make Meadowood Creche a fantastic centre.
