ROOM HIRE & PRICES
Meadowood Community Centre is a modern community house. We have x4 rooms available for hire, all with heat pumps, blinds, chairs and tables. Our moa room is our largest room, our second largest is the Pukeko, then Kiwi room and lastly our Tui Room (boardroom). Our Moa Room, which is perfect for children's and adult birthday's, graduations, large family gatherings, or one of our zumba or belly dancing classes.
To Book a Room, see below:
1. Go to the room that you are wanting to Book (see below)
2. Click on the BOOK NOW button that is correct for your booking e.g. Community or Business booking.
3. Select the date that you wish to book (Note: if the date is greyed out it means it is not available)
4. Follow the rest of the prompts and this will create a 'tentative booking' in our system
(To help us promptly reply to your booking, please write in the notes: a. What your booking is for e.g. birthday, group, etc, b. how many people will be attending and c. will you be having alcohol at your booking?)
5. Our Centre Manager will double check your booking requirements etc and will then liaise with you on the hire contract and payment requirements.
We also have spaces available for daytime or evening classes and you can view our current timetable of classes under groups and classes page.
NOTE:
- BONDS are refundable after the Centre Manager has inspected the space of hireage & upon NO DAMAGE or cost incurred to the house
- Kitchen facilities (including crockery & cutlery), along with adults & childrens tables & chairs are available as part of your hireage
- A maximum of 80 people are permitted in the Centre at any one time
- No selling of alcohol is permitted on our premises.
The Meadowood Management Committee reserve the right to cancel any application for hireage
Moa Room
Our Moa room is our largest space, the size of a hall. It also has access to the covered back porch & fenced playground and is a great size for birthdays, 21st etc.

Pukeko Room
Our Pukeko room is our medium sized space, and is adjacent to the kitchen with a direct servery bench. It is located at the front of the Centre and has access via a ranch slider to the reserve playground area (via the carpark).

Our Kiwi room is our second smallest sized space, and has access directly to our back fenced playground via a covered porch area, which can be utilised also.
